Grant Mayfield grew up with landscaping in his blood. Raised in a family that owned both a landscaping business and an irrigation training school, he’s been hands-on in the industry since he was old enough to hold a rake. From high school jobs to helping neighbors with their yards, landscaping has always been a natural part of his life. That lifelong foundation, combined with a desire to raise the standard in the industry, led him to create StandAlone Landscape Services.
Grant’s passion lies in hardscaping — building patios, retaining walls, and stonework that bring structure and beauty to outdoor spaces. But his expertise in irrigation, passed down through years of training and experience, gives him an edge in creating landscapes that are both stunning and sustainable.
What truly sets Grant and his team apart is their commitment to integrity, craftsmanship, and customer care. In an industry where homeowners often share "horror stories" about unreliability or poor service, StandAlone is the opposite: friendly, professional, and dedicated to doing things right the first time. With a CCB and LCB license, they offer a full spectrum of landscaping services in-house — no shortcuts.
In addition to serving homeowners, StandAlone Landscape Services also specializes in commercial landscaping solutions.
